Summary of strict requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in SEA en related SEA tools: Google analytics, tag manager.
  • Online paid channels Google, Bing and the automation capabilities of campaigns (including kpi’s like tCPA, tROAS).
  • Understanding the concepts of customer journeys and link it to paid advertising.
  • Experienced in settings up new campaigns, critically reviewing existing ones to improve profitability.
  • You have the ability to analyse data from different sources, translate these to visitor behavior, draw conclusions and end up with improvements in campaigns based on these stats.
  • Besides being analytical you love to be creative in ad copy and content to ensure high performing campaigns.
  • Monitoring and optimizing for costs and ROAS/POAS has become your second nature as a digital marketeer.

About the company
The company is a Dutch e-commerce company. They build and maintain an online platform to connect to airport services across the world and sell these services to airport travelers. The company employs 70+ people and is growing fast, year on year (Y2Y) basis 100+%. They have the financial resources to extend services on the platform and invest in new.
The company is rapidly expanding and investing in new countries and continents.

About the team
The online marketing team consist of a senior marketeer, an advertising specialist, a seo

specialist and support on content. You work closely together with these specialists and with the specialist at our partners Google, Microsoft and Facebook.
The main goal is to improve our digital campaigns to attract more customers resulting in increasing profit.

Besides our online marketing team there is a CRO team consisting of UI/UX designer, frontenders and data analysts. They A/B test the pages to ensure that the company learns from the visitors you bring in via the campaigns. This way we test and track behavior and give feedback to improve our campaigns and pages.

In addition to the online marketing team and CRO team you will collaborate with our international sales colleagues. These colleagues are located in 14+ countries around the globe (and growing) and know their local markets. They are responsible for sales targets and you consult them about the campaign strategy driving our growth in the various countries where we operate.

About you
You are a result-driven Digital Marketing specialist and you know how you buy relevant visitors at reasonable prices and present them relevant content. You are responsible for improving the profitability of Adwords in selected markets of our 14 countries and new markets.
You monitor campaign performance and analyze where improvements needs to be made or campaigns needs to be extended. With the experience you have, you start campaigns in new countries. Which means search for profitable sources and channels to attract visitors and help growing the visitors base to selected pages.

Together with your colleagues you help improve and optimize sales funnels.

Along budgets will grow and your responsibility. Depending on your personal goals and the challenges you seek, you can develop your experience to other (online) marketing channels as well.

Together with the online performance marketers, SEO & content specialists, you ensure that the campaigns performs better every day.

Requirements

To be a successful digital marketer you are experienced in:

This experience will be a plus for us:

  • experience with Facebook, Criteo, Display;
  • Channable or other feed management tools;
  • Experienced in a data analytics role;
  • Speaking 2 or more non native languages (eg English, Spanish, German, French).
  • Experienced working with/in English speaking teams.

Soft skills
Besides your in depth expertise/knowledge you need skills to ensure your knowledge is put into day to day practice of Company:

  • You are a good listener, your are familiar with asking (the right) questions to get to know what is required;
  • You are analytical, able to dig into the numbers but also explain qualitative aspects of customer behavior.
  • You have good communication skills (orally and written) and you are an easy communicator to other members of the team. You can explain your choices and priorities to other team members and management.
  • Your level of English conversation is at least intermediate (experienced working with English speaking teams).
  • You are curious and eager to learn and you take initiative. You are easy in connecting and collaborating with other team members and open to learn from them.

English level
Your level of English conversation is intermediate+. You need to be able to discuss in English your ideas, proposals with the development team and stakeholders. If English communication is a problem you donot fit in this position. Further you are a person who has seniority, is curious to explore new tech and eager to learn and you take initiatives. Your prefer a structured working style with attention to details. You are easy in connecting and collaborating with other team members.
