About the company

The company is a Dutch online platform in the food. They build and introduce an online platform during Covid to hire personnel for home dinners. They are market leader in The Netherlands for serviced home dinners and continue to grow fast. The founders have an extensive background in digital marketing for Corporates. Besides online marketing the founding team has an experienced CTO.
The platform has a high level of automation and can grow efficiently. They have the financial resources to extend services on the platform and invest in new.

For new markets a SAAS product has been set up and the frontend needs to be developed/extended with Vue.js/Nuxt.js. Besides there is a widget in React.js which need to be maintained and/or further developed. The company sees remote work and the remote team with foreign developers as a priority to realize their strategic goals. Their future expansion strategy is also to move to other countries.

About the team
They currently work with a development team of 3 developers outside the company, fully remote consisting of full stack laravel/node/vue/React developers. The CTO is part of the team, partly working hands-on on projects partly as a productowner exploring and prioritizing new features with the founders.

They would like to expand their remote team with 2 frontend developers and are looking for candidates. With experience in Vue.js (4+ years), Nuxt.js (3+ years), React.js (3+ years). Tailwind would be a huge plus and proficiency using Bootstrap is important.
The team works according to the scrum-cycle and handels building new functionality, extending existing functionality, bugfixing, refactoring and redesign.

About you

We are looking for medior-senior frontend developers with design feeling/experience who is responsible for implementing Views and Controllers in VueJS and also creating high quality HTML and CSS (Tailwind, Native, Responsive). Further you have experience in React.js to built new features or maintain existing ones. Besides the technical part of frontend you also have a feel for design. This means that with a few page designs you are able to shape and build derivative pages or improve UI of pages. You are independent and have experience working remote driving

Soft skills
What is important besides your technical expertise is your soft skills. You are an active listener meaning you are familiar with asking questions to get to know what is required and you have good communication skills (orally and written). You are experienced in working remote for English speaking customers. You know you better communicate too much than too little, with your team, to deliver your part of the platform. Your level of English conversation is intermediate+. You need to be able to discuss in English your ideas, proposals with the development team and stakeholders. If this is a problem you donot have the required level in English. Further you are a person who is curious and eager to learn and you take initiative. You are easy in connecting and collaborating with other team members.

We are looking for Medior – Senior Frontend developers who can work independently on a remote basis on tasks. You ask the right questions to build the right pages/features.
During the proces you have the opportunity to show your expertise via a challenge and get feedback on the work you delivered.

For the new product, the whole frontend of the platform needs to be build, based on design. So if you like to work on a new project with challenges and for a long time you should definitely apply. We are mainly interested in developers with expertise in front-end. Developers will work on new projects and a variety of tasks, ranging from redesign, new features, bugfixes to maintenance.
