  • 3+ years experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), A/B testing of pages and User testing.
  • Experience with customer journeys: set up, analyzing and optimization.

  • Experienced (3+ years) in data analytics
  • You have experience with data analysis of different sources (Google Analytics, Google Data Studio and Google Tag Manager) to provide you with insight in customer behavior/analytics.

Their goal is to become the biggest outlet in their category. In 2 years time the company has grown from The Netherlands to online outlets in Belgium and Germany. Led by executives from the largest online retail companies in The Netherlands the company grew to 100 enthusiastic driven professionals.Their future plans are to extend to other countries in Europe.ting in new countries and continents.

About the team
You work with a team consisting of a productowner, Data analytics, UI/UX design and Frontend. Besides your team there is young, ambitious team of sales, online marketeers, channel specialists (paid, organic, social) a product owner for the technical teams, several Tech teams and Customer services teams. The company is aiming to test and grow marketshare and profitability of different pages. They are looking for a remote conversion rate optimization specialist to join the online marketing team.

About you
You are a results-driven Conversion Expert, thinking about improvement but effective in selecting the right hypothesis to test. Do you enjoy analyzing data? Do you have experience with A / B testing and user testing? Then join this ambitious team.

As a CRO you are responsible for hypothesis, the roadmap and making sure we measure what matters with the right data. This helpt you to start driving your CRO strategy with the team. You draw up hypotheses, you translate them into effective A / B tests and implement these tests. You donot like to guess but you gather and analyze (the right) data and outcomes and set conclusions based on qualitative and quantitative data of the tests. For testing you use various tools such as Google Analytics, Data Studio, Tag Manager, but also Visual Website Optimizer. For the A / B tests, you create a mock-up of different page versions that is implemented by our front-end developer. Ultimately, the insights you gain from the testdata determines the way we set up our website pages and booking proces.

You optimized in the past high traffic sites either as a web analytics expert, data scientist or from a UI/UX design perspective and moved to the broader discipline of conversion optimization. You acquire new skills when needed, but your analytical insights have always been sufficient.

Together with the online performance marketers, SEO & content specialists, you ensure that our websites performs better every day. Together we will ensure to fulfill our mission, to make our Company number 1 platform for brands in home and living. You are responsible for improving the user experience of all our domains with million+ visitors and you cooperate with other specialists how to increase conversions for the different online channels. Every specialist in the team is motivated to drive the performance of the Company webshop adding expertise and learning on a day to day basis. You see freedom as a huge responsibility in selecting and solving the right problems in setting up hypothesis and prioritizing tests which can have a huge impact on the growth of Company. Requirements

To become a successful conversion optimization specialist within Company you are experienced in:

  • 3+ years experience in Conversion Optimization, A/B testing of pages and User testing.
  • Experience with customer journeys: set up, analyzing and optimization.
  • Experience (3+ years) with UI/UX, making user friendly webpages.
  • Experienced (3+ years) in data analytics
  • You have experience with data analysis, data science using different sources (Google Analytics, Google Data Studio and Google Tag Manager) to provide you with insight in customer behavior/analytics.
  • You combine strong analytical skills with a highly structured way of working.
  • You have experience (2 years) with CRO tools such as Visual Website Optimizer, Optimizely or Google Optimize.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript gives you an edge.
  • Experience with agile/scrum way of working.
  • As you work remote, you are a self starter and disciplined in scheduling your day and deliver as promised.

Soft skills
Besides your in depth expertise/knowledge you need skills to ensure your knowledge is put into day to day practice of Company:

  • You are a good listener, your are familiar with asking (the right) questions to get to know what is required;
  • You are analytical, able to dig into the numbers but also explain qualitative aspects of customer behavior.
  • You have good communication skills (orally and written) and you are an easy communicator to other members of the team. You can explain your choices and priorities to other team members and management.
  • Your level of English conversation is at least intermediate (experienced working with English speaking teams).
  • You are curious and eager to learn and you take initiative. You are easy in connecting and collaborating with other team members and open to learn from them.

English level
Your level of English conversation is intermediate+. You need to be able to discuss in English your ideas, proposals with the development team and stakeholders. If English communication is a problem you donot fit in this position. Further you are a person who has seniority, is curious to explore new tech and eager to learn and you take initiatives. Your prefer a structured working style with attention to details. You are easy in connecting and collaborating with other team members.

The company is looking for long term hires.
3 month trail period (1 day business notice)
